About the role

CNC Setup / Operator - 2nd Shift is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precise parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts accurately.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to meet production requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and report any malfunctions to supervisors.
• Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related experience in CNC operations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using various CNC machines.
• Experience with quality control processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Skills

• Proficient in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
