CNC Set-Up Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Set-Up Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and operating CNC lathes and mills, as well as a thorough understanding of CAD/CAM.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications
• Create and edit CNC programs as needed
• Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
• Train and mentor other team members on best practices for CNC machine operation
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and quality

Requirements

• Experience with CNC Milling and CNC Turning
• Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of G-code programming language
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
