** CNC Programmer

About the role

The CNC Programmer, located in Grandview, MO, reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for developing new CNC programs, designing tooling, and creating machining processes. This role serves as a leader and subject matter expert in metal machining within a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing existing and new products.

• Customer On-Time Shipment

Responsibilities

• Develop new CNC programs
• Design tooling and create machining processes
• Lead individuals and teams effectively
• Present and implement positive change with a continuous improvement mindset
• Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned

Requirements

• Sufficient experience and training in machine shop practices
• Expertise in machine programming, set-up, and operation of both manual and CNC equipment
• Extensive knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, 2D and 3D models
• Proven ability to lead individuals and teams
• Experience running, setting up, and programming multiple machine platform types (Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, Sub-Spindle Lathes)
• Positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset

Working Conditions

Work environment is very fast-paced and primarily conducted on the shop floor.

Pay

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
