CNC Programmer

Why Do We Need You?

The Omniseal Solutions division under the Mobility business is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join the Saint-Gobain team. You will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs, Wire EDM programs, and developing detailed CAD designs for tools.

About the Role

As our CNC Programmer, your expertise will be essential in ensuring the efficient and precise production of components within our Garden Grove facility. You will play a pivotal, cross-functional role, collaborating closely with engineering, quality assurance, CNC production, and tooling technicians.

Responsibilities

• Create, optimize, and maintain CNC programs (specifically for multi-axis mills and lathes)
• Develop detailed CAD designs for tools
• Design and create 3D models and engineering drawings for necessary fixtures, custom tools, custom cutters, and form tools
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, CNC production, and tooling technicians to enhance manufacturing processes

Requirements

• GED/HS Diploma (preferred)
• Certification in National Tool & Machining Association preferred
• Certification In Manufacturing Skills Standards Council preferred
• 6+ years plastic manufacturing industry, CNC machining and programming experience preferred
• Experience with SolidWorks, MasterCAM.CAD/HCAM, G-Code and M-Code for CNC mills and lathe programming language, and MazakTrol - Griffo Bros CAMLink software preferred

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check

Skills

• Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, MasterCAM.CAD/HCAM, G-Code and M-Code for CNC mills and lathe programming language, and MazakTrol - Griffo Bros CAMLink software
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $32.00 to $40.00 per hour. The targeted bonus amount is 8% to 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $66,560 to $91,520.
