CNC Programmer

About the role

Arnold Machine Inc., a full-service designer and manufacturer of high-quality, innovative automated equipment, is seeking an experienced machinist for a CNC Programmer position. The ideal candidate will have the eagerness to learn programming software to support our growing activity in equipment manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Identify CAM programmable parts while sorting through machining project prints.
• Program CNC Press Brake and Laser.
• Upload part solids and part data from engineering files.
• Select proper tools, part options, feed, and speed selections to efficiently program parts.
• Collaborate with other team members for programming needs.
• Work independently while effectively coordinating with other team members.
• Manage multiple projects as part of a cross-functional team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with team members.

Requirements

• Machining and sheet metal experience.
• Knowledge of CNC milling setups, proper tool selection, and proper feeds and speeds.
• Working knowledge of machining processes to manufacture machined parts efficiently.
• Experience with 5-axis programming (a plus).
• Knowledge of Gibbs CAM and Trumpf Boost software (a plus).
• General knowledge of sheet metal processes to program a Laser and Press Brake (a plus).
• Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a dynamic and productive team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
