Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and complete all Methods of Manufacture (MOM), including Bills of Materials (BOM) and process routings, to support the production of parts according to customer specifications and engineering drawings.
- Create and maintain production prints using Adobe and SolidWorks software based on customer-supplied drawings, technical specifications, and quality requirements.
- Program and support CNC machines on the shop floor to ensure efficient, accurate, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
- Work closely with machinists to provide technical guidance and troubleshoot CNC programming or machining-related issues.
- Create, revise, and maintain process routings for new, recurring, and rework job orders based on production requirements, vendor input, and operational feedback.
- Update and revise production prints, engineering drawings, and fixture designs as needed to support manufacturing processes and production efficiency.
- Partner with Production Control, Purchasing, and Production Supervisors to coordinate technical developments, scheduling priorities, and engineering-related concerns to ensure timely and accurate completion of engineering quotes.
- Utilize the Vantage System daily to input, track, and retrieve engineering and production-related information in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Assist with the evaluation, verification, and implementation of engineering changes, specifications, and drawing revisions, ensuring required approvals are obtained.
- Perform administrative duties related to engineering and production support, including maintaining quotes, copying production prints, and releasing documentation to the shop floor.
- Communicate directly with customers to clarify technical specifications, product requirements, and manufacturing-related concerns.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure manufacturing requirements are properly understood.
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred or a 2-year technical certification with equivalent engineering-related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Machining experience, preferably including a combination of manual and CNC machining.
- Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience required.
- Experience with inspection methods, including CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), preferred.
- Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, procedures, reports, specifications, and regulatory documents.
- Proficiency in Mastercam and SolidWorks software applications.
- Hands-on experience with CNC programming and machining operations.
- Strong understanding of mathematics, plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry, with the ability to apply concepts in practical manufacturing situations.
- Ability to prepare business correspondence, reports, and technical documentation effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and respond to questions from supervisors, managers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and related software systems.

Salary: $32-$36/hr
