About the role

As a CNC Programmer, you will develop and program multi-axis and multi-operation CNC systems, optimize Swiss and CNC multi-spindle machines, and lead continuous-improvement initiatives that drive measurable cost savings and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program multi-axis and multi-operation CNC programs
• Program and optimize Swiss and CNC multi-spindle machines to maximize efficiency and output
• Define machining schemes, probing routines, and toolpaths to ensure precision manufacturing
• Optimize cycle times, tool life, and machine utilization
• Lead first article inspections to verify part quality and conformance to specifications
• Spearhead continuous improvement projects with documented cost savings and measurable results
• Make critical technical decisions impacting quality, cost, and throughput across production operations
• Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced programmers

Requirements

• 3 to 10 years of CNC programming experience
• GibbsCAM proficiency is preferred
• Hands-on experience with multi-axis, Swiss, mill-turn, or multi-spindle CNC machines preferred
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or programming environment preferred
