Responsibilities
- Operate industrial parts washing equipment, ensuring parts meet cleanliness standards.
- Load and unload CNC machined parts into washing equipment, baskets, or fixtures.
- Clean parts using approved detergents, solvents, or aqueous cleaning systems.
- Inspect parts for cleanliness, damage, burrs, and machining residue before releasing them to the next operation.
- Maintain washer fluid levels, filters, and cleaning solutions as required.
- Dispose of waste materials and chemicals in accordance with company and environmental regulations.
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Support other production departments as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to read basic work instructions and production paperwork.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
Preferences
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience.
- Experience operating industrial parts washers.
Skills
- Ability to safely handle industrial cleaning chemicals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to identify contamination or damage on machined components.
