CNC Operator/Trainee

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection)
• Change tools.
• Make offsets.
• Load material and remove scrap.
• Fill out various paperwork.
• Simultaneous operation of multiple machines
• Minor troubleshooting
• Part inspection

Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications)

• 2/4 years experience with lathe/mill turning machines.
• Experience using the Fanuc control preferred.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T symbols).
• Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills Etc.)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and positive can-do attitude
• Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques.
• Able to read and write English.

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand for several hours.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

CNC Operators-trainees

• $19-22 an hour;
• Schedule- Wednesday-Sunday; Hours- 6am-4pm or 4pm-2am;
• Night differential 20 percent extra.
