CNC Operator (Mitsubishi Chemcial Advanced Materials)

About the role

Location: Delmont, PA. We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts that meet specifications and production requirements. This role performs independent machine setups, tooling changes, program edits, work offsets, and quality inspections while adjusting feeds and speeds to optimize machining performance. The ideal candidate has strong CNC setup and programming experience, can read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment, and is comfortable troubleshooting machining issues with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines independently using setup sheets and work instructions.
• Review, edit, and create CNC programs as needed.
• Create and modify programs using Haas VPS.
• Apply knowledge of G & M codes, tool geometry, speeds, feeds, and tooling.
• Set tool offsets and establish work origins using tool setters and WIPS.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to achieve required tolerances, finishes, and production rates.
