CNC Operator (Automotive Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

• Operates computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts.
• Loads parts in the machine, cycles machine, and detects malfunctions in machine operations.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Performs regular milling, turning, drilling, and tapping tasks.
• Completes and maintains paperwork for parts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent from a certified technical school preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC operator for at least 2 years.
• Understanding of production procedures.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds.

Shift premium for Afternoons and Midnights: 10%

• 1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm
• 2nd shift: 3:15pm-11:45pm
• 3rd shift: 11:30pm - 7:15am
