About the Role

We're looking for a CNC Operator to join our Blade Manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines used to manufacture critical aerospace components. Your work will directly support aviation safety and reliability at our Carson City facility.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines
• Load and edit machine programs as needed
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials
• Produce parts to engineering and production specifications
• Inspect and measure parts using precision measuring tools
• Perform minor part modifications and finishing work
• Follow assembly, production, and quality requirements
• Utilize computerized production tracking systems
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Support 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled shift to meet operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred
• Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented

Pay

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.

Shift Differential: $2-$4/hour based on assigned workdays

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

Schedule

3rd shift, primarily Monday-Friday (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM). Schedule flexibility is required; days and hours may vary based on business needs, including weekends.
