CNC Operator - 3rd Shift

About the role

G.S. Precision is seeking a skilled machinist to join our team. This position operates and adjusts machines, inspects parts, and maintains a clean, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machines after setup by supervisor, lead person, or set-up person
• Make adjustments to produce parts within specified tolerances and specifications
• Inspect parts using micrometers, verniers, gages, fixtures, and other measuring equipment
• Report needed adjustments and tool sharpening
• Report any problems or unusual circumstances to supervision immediately
• Exercise good machine practices at all times
• Ensure production meets quality and quantity standards
• Maintain accurate production records
• Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a neat and orderly condition
• Comply with company policies, rules, and regulations
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously
• Perform other duties as required, assigned, or directed

Requirements

• High School or GED diploma
• One year or more of machining experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to understand and use measurement and inspection devices
• Capacity to interpret blueprints and understand part placement
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment

Pay

$18.00 - $30.00 per hour + 15% differential
