CNC Operator - 2nd Shift

We are recognized as a leading manufacturer of brushed and brushless DC motors, stepper motor based linear actuators, precision Acme lead screw and anti-backlash nut assemblies, linear rail and guide systems, gearmotors, drives and complete custom automation sub-systems. We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a CNC Operator on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30pm-10:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Operating multiple machines simultaneously while proactively keeping all machines in the department running.
• Making adjustments to assure dimension, tolerances, quality and highest accuracy of parts.
• Performing inspection of your parts and your co-workers' parts utilizing measurement tools i.e. snap gage, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparator and other measuring instruments.
• Performing minor editing of current programs.
• Following established procedures as well as quality and safety standards.
• Communicating delays and problems effectively and timely.

Requirements

• A high school degree or equivalent.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivation.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Strong understanding of machining practices.
• Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math and measuring instruments.
• One to two years of machining experience or a recent certificate in precision machining or related field.
• Ability to work well within a team or independently and a demonstrated initiative to drive for results.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with Citizen Swiss-type machines is a plus.

Skills

• Basic understanding of CNC machine operations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety protocols.

Pay

$55,000 - $95,000 per year.

Schedule

2:30pm-10:30pm, Monday through Friday.
