About the role
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce precise metal parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to manufacture metal parts
- Follow detailed blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Monitor production levels and adjust processes as necessary
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of CNC machine operation and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Qualifications
- Proficient in using CNC machines
- Experience with metalworking processes
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
