CNC Operations Technician
Responsibilities
- Select tools and design fixtures to support the creation and modification of CNC programs
- Write new CNC programs, setup instructions, estimate and make changes to existing CNC programs
- Compute dimensions and tolerances, and measure work pieces
- Study blueprints and work orders to determine product specifications
- Set up and run the first part after completion of machine set up
- Load up work pieces and set up CNC machine as per specifications
- Set up and operate CNC machines to maximize the use of materials and equipment
- Perform quality work checks to insure your machine is producing quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in area of responsibility
- School Diploma or GED
