CNC Milling 1st shift

About the role

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand, is hiring a CNC Milling Set Up Production Operator for all 1st Shift positions. The pay range is $24/hour to $30/hour, with potential for overtime. Responsibilities

• Set up to operate vertical milling machinery while upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect products to print, identifying any flaws or defects in the material, including deburring as necessary.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts, and shop orders to plan and check work.
• Obtain the proper set of tools from the tool crib, select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy.
• Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications, and instructions to determine proper operation sequences.
• Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments.
• Move completed materials to the next workstation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• 6 months to 1-year related experience or training.
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates, and experience in calculating feeds and speeds.
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.

Qualifications

Education and experience requirements include one year certificate from college or technical school, six months to one year related experience or training, ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions, mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, proficiency in reading measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers, and completion of a blueprint reading course.

Skills

Key skills include proficiency in interpreting and understanding drawings, specifications, process sheets, and shop orders; ability to perform necessary calculations for tool depth and compensation adjustments; and the ability to move completed materials to the next workstation.
