CNC Maintenance Technician - Relocation Opportunity - New Mexico

About the role

Join Productivity, Inc., a leader in machine tool sales, service, and automation integration since 1968, as a Maintenance Technician supporting customers with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of CNC metalworking machines
  • Perform machine installations and setup
  • Adjust and repair spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items
  • Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance
  • Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams
  • Travel locally to customer sites, with 4–6 overnights per month

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of servo systems, ball screws, spindles, and control systems (Fanuc, Mitsubishi experience helpful)
  • Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro-mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Willingness to travel locally and relocate to New Mexico
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
