CNC Maintenance Technician – Grand Junction, CO
About the role
Join Productivity, Inc., a leader in machine tool sales, service, and automation integration since 1968, as a Maintenance Technician supporting customers with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced production equipment in the Grand Junction area and the Western Slope region.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of CNC metalworking machines
- Perform machine installations and setup
- Adjust and repair spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items
- Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams
- Travel locally to customer sites, with 4–6 overnights per month
Requirements
- 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of servo systems, ball screws, spindles, and control systems (Fanuc, Mitsubishi experience helpful)
- Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro-mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc.
- Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel locally throughout the Western Slope
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Pay
$30–$39/hour, DOE, plus incentives — annual performance & salary reviews
Schedule
Full time, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime
