CNC Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Maintenance Technician at Seyer Industries. Founded in 1957, we specialize in high-complexity machined parts and assemblies for the aerospace and maritime industries.

Job Duties

• Installation of a wide variety of machine tools and other manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose, plan, and execute repair on machine tools in a thorough and efficient manner
• Perform preventive maintenance on machine tools and other manufacturing equipment
• Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams to diagnose and perform repairs
• Strong understanding of machine tool programming languages and PLC
• Conform to all requirements of Seyer Industries Quality System and any and all customer invoked quality requirements
• Continuously seek opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and organization (6s)
• Work well within a team to achieve minimal downtime of manufacturing equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with machine tools and manufacturing equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Understanding of machine tool programming languages and PLC
