CNC Maintenance Technician

About the role

Barron Industries, founded in 1983, is a leading investment casting and precision machining company serving the aerospace and defense industries. We manufacture mission-critical metal components for highly regulated applications, with a strong commitment to quality systems, safety, and continuous improvement. Our new Aerospace and Defense Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center (ADAMTeC) is opening soon, creating new 50 jobs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Support robotics and automated systems (experience with robotics is a plus!)
• Minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability in a mission-critical production environment
• Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in CNC machine maintenance
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
• Able to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities

Preferred

• Experience with robotics and automation systems
• Knowledge of PLCs and servo systems
• Familiarity with aerospace/defense manufacturing standards
