CNC Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Troubleshoot and repair CNC mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Install, start up, and shut down equipment, following company and OSHA safety protocols.

Advise operators and line mechanics on safe operation procedures for mechanical equipment and components.

Inform management and maintenance personnel of potential mechanical problems and risks.

Maintain performance and maintenance records for key equipment.

Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) functions and assist with technical troubleshooting.

Aid and train other Maintenance Technicians in repair procedures and best practices.

Adapt to changing department needs, including overtime and shift coverage.

Maintain housekeeping standards in compliance with environmental and safety guidelines.

Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols, reporting any job-related injury or illness immediately.

Meet company attendance and punctuality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Accredited apprenticeship program certification in a technical field or the equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience with mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems and Fanuc Controls.
  • Previous experience and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to work well with all levels of personnel, whether individually or in a team environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with operators and team members.
  • Experience in developing or implementing a Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
  • A strong safety focus and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

  • Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to: Ability to stand for long periods of time, Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds, Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor, Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers, Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
