About the role

Excellent long term position at leading manufacturer in the tooling, stamping and machining industry. 2nd and 3rd shift opening. $28-$35/hour+ for a strong milling set up/operator.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate multi-axis (5 axis) machining centers and vertical machining centers
• Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products
• Program computers or electronic instruments, such as numerically controlled machine tools
• Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations
• Work with medium to large parts, one offs, and lots of set ups from prints
• Perform precision, short run and close tolerance specialty machining and machinery building

Qualifications

• Experience with Fanuc controllers
• 5 axis milling experience
• Knowledge of M & G code edits
• Strong set up experience on mills
• Experience with short runs and 5 axis CNC machine tools
• Mastercam software available (familiarity preferred)
