CNC Machinist Setup Operator- Twin Spindle/Twin Turret

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret process plans and blueprints to determine necessary machining, dimensional specifications, and operating requirements
• Utilizes various types of inspection instruments to check work per print
• Completes necessary job-related paperwork including part identification, inspection documents, and production log
• Performs basic equipment maintenance such as proper coolant levels, filter checks, fan operation, cleaning of machine, etc.

Requirements

• Two years of experience setting up and operating Twin Spindle/Twin Turret machines
• Two years of precision CNC machining experience
• Ability to operate machines manufactured by Eurotech and Mori Seiki
• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English

Physical Job Requirements

• Regularly required to stand and reach for the duration of the shift, 8 hours
• Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend
• Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycle work
• Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Strong work ethic: willing to work overtime to meet tight deadlines as needed
• Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc., as designated in specific work area assigned
