Essential Responsibilities
- Operate multi-turret CNC lathes to produce precision machined parts.
- Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Make basic machine offset adjustments as needed.
- Monitor machine performance and notify supervisors of tooling or quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
- Work with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
- Assist with machine setups when needed and continue developing setup skills.
Requirements
- Previous CNC machining experience preferred.
- Experience operating CNC lathes or turning centers is a plus.
- Experience with Miyano machines is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with machine setup is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and use common precision measuring tools.
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
