CNC Machinist lll

We’re partnering with a well-established precision manufacturer in St Joseph that’s growing fast and investing heavily in its CNC team. If you’re a strong CNC operator/machinist who likes clean processes, modern equipment, and a crew that holds each other accountable, this is the kind of shop you stay at. This is a Level 3 role — meaning you’re not just pushing buttons. You’ll be expected to run multi-axis work, catch issues early, keep parts in spec, and help the shift stay on pace.

Responsibilities

• Run multi-axis CNC equipment producing precision parts to spec
• Handle set-ups, offsets, and tool changes as needed to keep production flowing
• Troubleshoot machining/process issues and make smart adjustments quickly
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
• Maintain equipment condition and keep your area clean, organized, and safe
• Communicate issues clearly to leadership and teammates so nothing gets missed

Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC machining / operation experience (any CNC background considered)
• Ability to read blueprints + GD&T and understand geometric tolerancing
• Comfortable with high-speed production machinery and inspection tools
• Strong reliability (you show up, you own the work, you care about quality)
• Willingness to be coached and continuously improve

Nice to have

• Experience with Gantry / Swiss / Mill-Turn style lathes
• Exposure to Murata and/or Star machines

Pay

Base Pay: $24–$30/hour (based on experience)
C Shift Premium: paid as 40 hours for the shift structure

Schedule

C Shift (Fri–Sun) 6:00am–6:00pm EST | Paid for 40 hours
