CNC Machinist - Large Part, 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Setting up large parts for machining while maximizing machine utilization
• Quality control of weldments and machined parts
• Keeping work areas clean to company standard
• Following all safety procedures
• Working well in the team
• Documentation of various processes

Requirements

• 4 years of experience as a machinist on relevant CNC machines
• Relevant technical education is a plus
• Able to read and interpret complex programs, understanding the G and M codes used
• Able to make offset wear changes or zero-point shifts if required
• Able to properly use gauges, micrometers, and other equipment necessary to measure and inspect individual work
• Able to read and understand advanced blueprints and drawings
• Great attention to quality
