CNC Machinist I - Night Shift

About the role

Operates both manual and CNC equipment for the efficient production of quality, high-tolerance precision components. This is a night shift position with a rotating schedule:

• First week: Monday - Wednesday, 6:00pm - 6:30am
• Second week: Monday - Wednesday, 6:00pm - 6:30am; Thursday, 6:00pm - 2:30am

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical prints
• Setup, operate, and adjust machining equipment for production efficiency with supervision
• Monitor quality of parts produced to ensure customer requirements are met
• Abide by all company safety and health policies and procedures; use personal protective equipment if required
• Support company ISO goals and objectives, and adhere to ISO requirements
• Actively participate in the company’s Lean philosophy of continuous improvement
• Ensure measuring devices used to check product quality are calibrated prior to use
• Maintain in-process product identification
• Follow procedure for handling nonconforming parts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical degree in CNC Machining or minimum one plus years of CNC machine operation experience
• Knowledge of MS Office applications including Word and Excel

Pay

Pay rate is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour plus a $3.00 per hour shift differential. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums if higher than the range listed.
