About the role
Operates both manual and CNC equipment for the efficient production of quality, high-tolerance precision components. This is a night shift position with a rotating schedule:
- First week: Monday - Wednesday, 6:00pm - 6:30am
- Second week: Monday - Wednesday, 6:00pm - 6:30am; Thursday, 6:00pm - 2:30am
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical prints
- Setup, operate, and adjust machining equipment for production efficiency with supervision
- Monitor quality of parts produced to ensure customer requirements are met
- Abide by all company safety and health policies and procedures; use personal protective equipment if required
- Support company ISO goals and objectives, and adhere to ISO requirements
- Actively participate in the company’s Lean philosophy of continuous improvement
- Ensure measuring devices used to check product quality are calibrated prior to use
- Maintain in-process product identification
- Follow procedure for handling nonconforming parts
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational/Technical degree in CNC Machining or minimum one plus years of CNC machine operation experience
- Knowledge of MS Office applications including Word and Excel
Pay
Pay rate is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour plus a $3.00 per hour shift differential. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums if higher than the range listed.
