CNC Machinist I

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components that meet exact specifications. Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, process efficiency, and continuous improvement across our operations.

What your day may look like

• Set up and operate precision manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, CMMs, FARO Arms, milling machines, and other machining tools to produce high-quality components.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions to fabricate, prototype, modify, and rework parts, fixtures, and assemblies.
• Partner with engineers and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot production challenges, improve processes, and deliver innovative solutions.
• Perform precision measurements, inspections, and quality checks to ensure all products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment through equipment maintenance, housekeeping, and adherence to established procedures.

What will make you successful in this role

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least three years of experience in machining and/or fabrication. Must have practical knowledge of CNC programming.
• Candidate should have training as a machining technician, machine operator, or lathe operator.
• Strong proficiency in reading blueprints.
• Experienced in using precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, and gauges.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $23.40-$31.66 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
