About the role
The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precise metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to fabricate metal components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and are produced efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and maintain machine cleanliness
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in CNC machining
- Proficiency in using CNC machines and associated tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Basic understanding of metrology and inspection techniques
