About the role
At Mate Precision Technologies, we respect, support, and inspire metalworking professionals around the world. We're seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Machinist to join our team.
Requirements
- Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines to produce precision components
- Meet quality, productivity, and delivery expectations
- Work with blueprints and GD&T requirements
- Inspect work using precision measuring tools
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
- Support continuous improvement efforts through 5S, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two-year technical degree preferred
- Experience operating CNC and/or conventional machining equipment
- Strong knowledge of machine tooling, fixtures, machining processes, blueprint reading, and GD&T
- Basic familiarity with machine programming features and ERP systems
- Strong math skills, communication skills, and a safety-focused mindset

Pay
Competitive pay ranging from $25.00 – $39.36 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential - based upon skill and experience
Schedule
- Mon–Fri, 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. (5 days x 8 hrs)
- Mon-Thurs 3:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. (4 days x 10 hrs)
