CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

About the role

A well-established Pennsylvania manufacturer is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join their shop floor team. You'll work on close-tolerance parts across a variety of setups and be trusted to do it with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, and turning centers
• Produce centrifugal pump components to close tolerances across a wide variety of part types
• Read and interpret engineering prints including GD&T
• Use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment cleaning
• Maintain quality and safety standards and records
• Guide less experienced machinists when needed

Requirements

• 3–5 years of machining experience (CNC and/or manual)
• Ability to perform difficult setups and run machines independently
• Proficient reading engineering prints with GD&T
• Skilled with precision measuring instruments
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical certification a plus

Schedule

• Monday – Friday | 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
• No mandatory OT
