CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

Direct-hire opportunity with a well-established Pennsylvania manufacturer for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist. Work on close-tolerance parts with minimal supervision.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
• No mandatory overtime; extra hours available if desired

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, and turning centers
• Produce centrifugal pump components to close tolerances across a wide variety of part types
• Read and interpret engineering prints including GD&T
• Use precision measurement instruments — micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment cleaning
• Maintain quality and safety standards and records
• Guide less experienced machinists when needed

Requirements

• 3–5 years of machining experience (CNC and/or manual)
• Ability to perform difficult setups and run machines independently
• Proficient reading engineering prints with GD&T
• Skilled with precision measuring instruments
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical certification a plus
• Strong attention to detail and time management

Pay

$26–$30/hour based on experience
