CNC Machinist - 1st and 2nd Shifts Available

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed drawing
• Monitors and adjusts schedule to respond to internal production requirements
• Troubleshoot parts and machine problems
• Set-up and operate CNC machines to very close tolerances
• Use calipers or other measuring instruments in order to perform quality control checks on parts in-process and upon completion
• Ability to build tooling
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Recommend changes to processes or procedures to improve quality and productivity
• Exercise care and safe work practices - work requires close tolerances and fine finishes
• Solve problems and deviations in accordance with previous training; interact with programmers to find solutions to new or unusual problems
• Perform necessary tasks and paperwork for the proper movement and control of parts
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment
• Perform other related duties as required

Shifts

• 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 PM - 33:30 AM

Overtime

• Overtime as necessary on Fridays for both shifts
