CNC Machine Shop Supervisor (Mazak/GibbsCAM)
About the role
We’re a clean, well-maintained machine shop running new Mazak equipment with Smooth G controls, and we’re looking for a hands-on CNC Supervisor who can lead from the floor. This is not a desk job—you’ll be actively involved in setup, programming (GibbsCAM), and running jobs while leading a small team. Your experience will directly influence how the shop operates, improves processes, and gets work done.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily operations on the shop floor
- Set up and run Mazak CNC lathes and mills
- Program and optimize jobs using GibbsCAM
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and program issues
- Keep jobs on schedule and to print
- Train and support machinists/operators
- Help improve efficiency, setups, and overall shop performance
