About the role
We are a manufacturing company specializing in the design and production of industrial equipment used in food processing applications. Our operation is built around precision, efficiency, and cross-functional teamwork between production, engineering, and assembly to ensure high-quality output and on-time delivery.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily machining operations within the machine shop, including CNC milling and turning work
- Perform and support complex CNC setups and program adjustments directly at the machine
- Monitor production flow to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and meet quality expectations
- Train, coach, and supervise machinists to improve performance, consistency, and safety practices
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and support smooth workflow
- Inspect parts and verify conformance to engineering drawings and specifications
- Track tooling conditions, machine performance, and material usage to reduce downtime and waste
- Support continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, safety, and product quality
Requirements
- Bilingual English and Spanish required
- 7+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a machine shop setting
- Strong hands-on experience with CNC mills and lathes, including setup and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications
- Proficiency in CNC program adjustments and machine-level edits
- Experience training or mentoring machinists in production environments
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and fabrication methods
Pay
- $34 - $50 per hour
