CNC Machine Operator I & II - "Sign On Bonus"

About the role

The CNC Machine Operator is an experienced machine operator who is disciplined, creative, and an excellent problem solver who will thrive in our lean manufacturing environment. A successful candidate is a reliable individual who is able to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances with a strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Work
• Machine set up, running parts and preventative maintenance (PM).
• Inspect, deburr, and perform manual operations and/or operate other equipment, including the selection and presetting of tools which will be required for the next scheduled job.
• Update and maintain all visual controls
• Create and/or support countermeasures and operate in and maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Participate and engage in SMED, Kaizen events, and '5 Whys' problem-solving exercises.
• Resolve and/or report equipment abnormalities.
• Follow company safety procedures and standards to insure individual and collective safety, in addition to avoiding unnecessary risk to oneself, co-workers, contractors, customers, and property.
• Be a stand for safety having the courage to call forth and report unsafe practices.

Requirements

• At least 3+ (three) or more years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience

Pay

Pay range is $23.89-$27.51 per hour plus $1.35/hr. Shift Differential for 2nd shift as well as $1500 Sign On Bonus after 90 days

Schedule

1st Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
2nd Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am
