Responsibilities
- Assemble sub-systems and cubic engine components using various tools, gauges, devices, Loctite, liquid nitrogen, lubricants, and specialized equipment.
- Operate CNC HELLER machining centers with Siemens 840D controllers according to instructions, routings, control plans, production requirements, and diagrams.
- Read, study, and interpret blueprints, machining/assembly instructions, specifications manuals, job orders, routings, and control plans to determine sequences of operations, setups, and requirements.
- Compile workpieces, components, and materials per specifications; inspect, document, and report defects.
- Select appropriate materials and tooling required for machining and assembly of cubic engine components.
Requirements
- 2 years in a mechanical, maintenance or machining trade school or equivalent Associate’s Degree; or 5 years of experience in a heavy-duty machining environment.
- Ability to work the off-shift schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 pm to 6:00 am (training will take place on the same shift).
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate knowledge of CNC-controls (preferred Siemens 840D controllers), machines, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Intermediate ability to interpret Statistical Process Control (SPC) and operate scanning devices for system communications.
- Intermediate knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture (e.g., Quality Alerts, Second Checks).
- Intermediate knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine compliance with laws, regulations, or standards.
- Intermediate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex problems.

Pay
$32.57 - $48.86 hourly
Schedule
Full-time, off-shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 pm to 6:00 am (training will take place on the same shift).
