About the role
We are seeking a CNC Programmer for our Eagle, WI facility. The Programmer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of programs for turret punch, laser cutting machines, and dimension flats.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain programs for each piece of blanking and welding equipment.
- Maintain and/or change floor routings and BOMs required for processing parts through the sheet metal department.
- Resolve programming issues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old to work in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Technical School or Associate Degree (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PDM/ERP systems (AS/400, iSeries, MAPICS).
- Demonstrated knowledge of creating AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProE.
- Proficiency in SigmaNest, Striker, and G-code/M-code.
- Demonstrated knowledge of fabrication sheet metal processes including punch press, brake press, laser, and CNC.
Skills
- Effective interaction with production and engineering employees.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
- Regularly required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders.
- Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Occasional travel may be required.
