CNC Laser/Turret, and Press Brake Programmer

About the role

We are seeking a CNC Programmer for our Eagle, WI facility. The Programmer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of programs for turret punch, laser cutting machines, and dimension flats.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain programs for each piece of blanking and welding equipment.
• Maintain and/or change floor routings and BOMs required for processing parts through the sheet metal department.
• Resolve programming issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old to work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Technical School or Associate Degree (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PDM/ERP systems (AS/400, iSeries, MAPICS).
• Demonstrated knowledge of creating AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProE.
• Proficiency in SigmaNest, Striker, and G-code/M-code.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fabrication sheet metal processes including punch press, brake press, laser, and CNC.

• Effective interaction with production and engineering employees.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
• Regularly required to stand and walk.
• Occasionally required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders.
• Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasional travel may be required.
