CNC Press Brake Programmer

About the role

We are hiring a CNC press brake programmer for a precision metal parts shop in the El Monte area. This is a temp-to-hire position through MDRN Staffing, with a client that keeps good people, hires them on permanent, and promotes from within.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC press brakes: bend sequences, angles, backgauge, tooling selection
• Set up the machine from prints and material specs, prove out programs with test bends
• Run parts and inspect your own work with calipers and micrometers
• Troubleshoot programming, setup, and production issues
• Keep production and quality documentation accurate
• Work alongside engineering and production in a fast-paced job shop

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of CNC press brake programming and setup experience
• You read blueprints and technical drawings
• CAD/CAM experience
• Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials
• Comfortable working independently
• On your feet for long stretches, some lifting
• 18+, able to pass a basic background check (we use E-Verify)
