CNC Horizontal Dual Pallet Changer

About the role

At Trident Maritime Systems – Heavy Equipment Group, we are seeking a CNC Horizontal Dual Pallet Changer Machinist (HN80) in our Rhinelander, WI location. This role involves setting up, adjusting, and machining large complex weldments and parts on HN80 with a high degree of accuracy on various sizes and related dimensions up to 4ft. You will also demonstrate the ability to meet routed hours with a high level of detail to quality and modify and create programs as needed to meet company and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up intricate parts and fixturing
• Work from advanced drawings and job layouts
• Machine intermediate to advanced parts with a high level of quality using materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys
• Maintain equipment and safe work area
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Basic M & G Code, blueprint reading and math skills is a plus
• Machining knowledge in a manufacturing industry preferred
• Completion of Machining program is a plus
• Fanuc CNC experience strongly desired
• Multi-axis machining background including tool path verification and collision analysis is preferred
• Worked with materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic and high temperature alloys a plus
• Experience working with large complex weldments is preferred
• Experience setting up quality gauging

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds
• Long periods of standing
