Automated Pallet Repair

Job Summary

As an Automated Pallet Repairer, you’ll build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood to fulfill customer needs. This is a piece rate position, where higher production leads to higher earnings. Hourly pay ranges from $14.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Shifts

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from the saw shop and assemble pallets using a nail gun along set stringers
• Stack finished products by hand for forklift operators to transport to designated areas
• Ensure safety by adhering to all company procedures
• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining a high volume of finished goods
• Communicate effectively and work overtime as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 lbs. regularly
• Previous experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing is preferred
• Quick hands and attention to detail
• Commitment to quality and effective communication skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
