CNC Horizontal Dual Pallet Changer

About the role

Setup, adjust, and machine large complex weldments and parts on a CNC Horizontal Dual Pallet Changer (HN80) with a high degree of accuracy on various sizes and related dimensions up to 4 ft. Demonstrate the ability to meet routed hours while maintaining a high level of detail to quality. Modify and create programs as needed to meet company and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up intricate parts and fixturing
• Work from advanced drawings and job layouts
• Machine intermediate to advanced parts with a high level of quality using materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic, and high-temperature alloys
• Produce parts efficiently within print/contract details
• Operate overhead crane and perform rigging
• Setup tooling using machine setup documentation
• Use drawings, specifications, and a wide variety of precision measuring instruments
• Maintain equipment and a safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Basic M & G Code, blueprint reading, and math skills (a plus)
• Machining knowledge in a manufacturing industry (preferred)
• Completion of a Machining program (a plus)
• Fanuc CNC experience (strongly desired)
• Multi-axis machining background including tool path verification and collision analysis (preferred)
• Experience working with materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotic, and high-temperature alloys (a plus)
• Experience working with large complex weldments (preferred)
• Experience setting up quality gauging

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds
• Long periods of standing
