CNC Field Service Engineer

About the role

The CNC Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machine tools at customer sites nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal machine performance through precise installation, calibration, and adjustments
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and application issues
• Provide on-site and remote technical support
• Offer customer training
• Support project coordination
• Maintain detailed documentation
• Support trade shows
• Perform other related tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance and remote support
• Proficiency with CNC control systems like FANUC
• PLC programming knowledge
• Industrial electrical systems expertise
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with extensive travel
