About the role
A 190-day position available at Hartsville High School for the 2026-2027 school year. This non-exempt position offers a base salary of $21,874 based on education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Certified Nursing Assistant: Uphold professional standards and regulations, apply nursing theory, assess student responses, and maintain a professional relationship.
- Classroom Teaching Assistance: Provide supervision, maintain a positive environment, assist with daily care, adhere to dress codes, and support student growth.
- Health Room Support: Collaborate with the school nurse, implement health care plans, and perform duties under the supervision of the registered nurse.
Qualifications
- State Certification as a Nursing Assistant
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One of the following:
- WIN - Copy of WIN Assessment with a minimum of Silver: Level 4 or higher
- Work Keys - Passing scores on three areas (Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information, Writing)
- ParaPro - Passing score (minimum 456) on ParaPro
- Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education
- An associate degree (or higher)
Alternatives to the above qualifications as determined by the Board may also be accepted.

- State Certification as a Nursing Assistant
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One of the following:
- WIN, Work Keys, or ParaPro
- College Degree or transcript showing 60 or more credit hours
