About the Role
The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients, including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observing patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording information in patient charts, communicating with the Patient Care Team, and providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary by department.
Qualifications
- Licenses/Certifications: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Six months in a clinical healthcare environment, six months supporting physical, emotional, and psycho-social patient needs
Pay
Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
Benefits
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 with a 1-year work commitment (must be at least 18 years old)
- Shift Differentials: Weekend - $1.75/hour
