Responsibilities
- Ensuring patient safety and implementing fall prevention measures.
- Providing support to patients in their daily activities (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, and moving.
- Prioritizing and responding to patient call lights in a timely and efficient manner.
- Addressing any patient concerns or complaints, and implementing service recovery measures when necessary.
- Documenting patient interactions and medical information accurately and efficiently, with a strong familiarity with flowsheet documentation.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, always respecting patient privacy and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNA or in a similar role.
- A current CNA certification.
- Proven experience in patient safety awareness and fall prevention.
- Experience in supporting patients with their ADLs.
- Proven ability to prioritize and respond to call lights effectively.
- Experience in service recovery and handling patient complaints.
- Strong documentation skills, with familiarity in using flowsheet documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
