Description

The CNA supports the continuum of care by providing basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living. Performs uncomplicated technical procedures. Utilizes a variety of technical equipment and supplies. Provides basic patient care support: patient transport, specimen and blood and blood products transport, and inventory management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active California CNA license.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
• Demonstrated ability to observe deviations from normal.

Prior to Hire

• Bilingual: Spanish/English.
• Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Special Conditions

• Knowledge of Epic, UCSD Paging & Scheduling Systems.
• Medical terminology certificate.
