CNA Restorative / Rehab Tech

Job Duties

• Assist in patient treatment or set-up, as appropriate, under supervision of licensed therapist and only as determined by state practice acts, federal regulation or payor
• Provide non-skilled service delivery pre or post therapy intervention in accordance with state and federal regulations to support patient progress
• Participate in treatment location in-service training programs
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area and department
• Assist with administrative and scheduling tasks
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies and equipment
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to treatment location infection control policies and protocols and keeping information confidential per company and federal requirements
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with treatment location and department procedures, rules and regulations
• Ensure proper operation of equipment by complying with company procedures and following manufacturer’s instructions

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA in state of practice
• Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist or similar area, preferred
• Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations, preferred
