CNA Resident Care Associate - Assisted Living

The Orchards of Southington (10165) operates on a 5 evenings per week schedule, including every other weekend from 2:30-11:00pm.

Responsibilities

Provides service and care to each resident in a timely and efficient manner. Maintains expectations of residents and families with satisfactory results and implements high-quality services in a positive customer service-focused manner. Reports to the manager/director.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nurse Aide and registered in accordance with laws of this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age.
• Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be able to perform CPR.
